"3M Russia" completed SAP implementation of ERP

"3M Russia" completed system implementation of SAP, the company reported on September 3, 2013.

Project Background

If to earlier Russian employees 3M more than 50 were necessary to work with number of operating systems, such as CARS, SUN, Warehouse Promo and others, upon completion of implementation replaced them one single platform of SAP.

Project Progress

Transfer and updating of data is complete. The project is implemented within 8 months. "3M Russia" became the first division of corporation 3M where the system of SAP is implemented. Experiment of the company on system deployment will be replicated in all countries of residence of divisions of company 3M, within the next 7 years.

SAP is implemented on industrial complex 3M in Volokolamsk.

Project Plans

For clients it is necessary the uniform operational center – an automated system within which it is possible to place orders online is created, to see the price, possible discounts, existence of goods in a warehouse, terms of a complete set of the order and delivery dates. Implementation of a number of additional services for clients in the field of order placement, shipment of goods, pricing, improvement of a supply chain, and, eventually, reduction of delivery time is planned.
