"The 5th element" automates work of warehouse divisions

On October 16, 2013 the ant Technologies company announced implementation of WMS]] - the Logistics Vision Suite systems on a warehouse complex of retail network "5 Element".

Project Tasks

"5 Element" - retail network selling electronics and home appliances in the territory of Belarus.

The main warehouse of the company is used for storage of goods of different category: small-size equipment, mid-size equipment, expensive goods and other goods. In a warehouse zones are selected: for rack and shelf storage, the mezzanine (two floors), floor storage, service goods, marking, office cells (buffer, interactions of warehouses, processings of goods, etc.). The second warehouse, the smaller area, is organized for storage of the large-size and climatic equipment where zones of floor storage and office cells are used.

Goods availability in a warehouse, uninterrupted and timely supplies and shipments, minimization of errors in warehouse transactions, reduction of time of execution of orders – necessary conditions of successful work and development of the company.

Project Progress

The ant Technologies company offered the warehouse management system Logistics Vision Suite as the solution on optimization of warehouse processes. The project team of integrator, considered the presented solutions at the market and made a choice for benefit of WMS Logistics Vision Suite. Specialists of ant Technologies started project implementation.

The warehouse of the customer is provided by two platforms: ⁴⁰⁰⁰² and 5000 ^sq.m where consecutive start of WMS LVS on 35 jobs is made.

In a system the opportunity for work with sub-standard goods which can be defective on several indicators is implemented, during the course of performance service works of the reason of rejection can be changed. All processes in a zone of service are closely integrated about a host system based on 1C by 8 means of the module Link Manager.

Implementation took place according to the agreement.
