ABB completed the project of transfer to outsourcing of the systems of printing to HP

HP Inc. announced in the spring of 2016 project completion on transfer to outsourcing of the systems of printing of the Russian representative office of the Swiss company ABB. As a result the supplier of a power equipment and technologies for power industry and transport optimized printing processes, having increased their efficiency and security and also cut down expenses on corporate printing on 20%.

The implemented system allowed to consolidate ABB printing process. Now at the Moscow office of the company it is organized eight "printing zones", in each of which the powerful and protected multi-function printer is installed. Besides, within the project of HP ABB provides complete outsourcing of services of printing in all territory of Russia — provides the equipment, supplies, service and repair.

Need for the innovation approach to the organization of printing processes for ABB company turned out to be consequence of business development and dilapidation of the existing park of devices. During transformation of the Russian structure of the company several Moscow offices were territorially joint, and it became clear that very large number of the equipment of the most different producers — printers, copiers, scanners is the share of 450 people. Some printers there were more than one hundred, and personal low-productive models were generally used. Over ten service providers serviced this variety that required high expenses on printing.

"All cross liabilities are stated in agreements on the service level, specialists of HP far off monitor devices, proactively service them, beforehand change cartridges and drums, etc. We need to buy paper, to service a print servers and to pay bills, - Shevchenko Vladimir, the director of information service of ABB company in Russia commented. – Thus, transition to outsourcing of the systems of printing of HP allowed us to optimize expenditure significantly. So, different delivery notes and administrative expenses practically from first month decreased by 25%, direct expenses on printing — for 20%. Also non-productive costs were cut down. For example, on printers there is practically no unclaimed document left. And as the status of the equipment is monitored far off in the automatic mode, there is no situation when several thousands of sheets are sent to printing — and all of them are printed or is pale, or with a black band in the middle because the toner ended or the drum resource is developed".
