Content

On December 4, 2013 it became known of an implementation project BI Consult company of the solution for the business analysis on the QlikView Business Discovery platform in ADM company.

Project Tasks

The ADM company locates the developed representative network and until implementation the company maintained 18 databases of the different reporting. Due to the lack of a single system of storage and providing information creation of monthly reports for divisions took, at least, 14 days. As a result top management of the company had no opportunity to quickly obtain up-to-date data about a status of the company and to make strategically important decisions.

Having studied a number of systems on automation of analytics, the company stopped the choice on the QlikView Business Discovery platform. The possibility of evident submission of analytical data, simplicity of obtaining multilevel information and lack of need of its introduction for the manual mode, a user-friendly interface were its main advantages.

Project Progress

As the partner in an implementation project of a system the consulting company BI Consult acted. Implementation took three months.

Project Results

For December 4, 2013 40 leading employees of ADM company in Moscow and St. Petersburg work with QlikView. They have an opportunity:

  • control dynamics and profitability of sales
  • range
  • stock remainders
  • carry out reviews of a status of clients, including — the statuses of customer bases and receivables.

Systematization and reduction to the uniform standard of information stored in databases of the Company reduced time for preparation of different reports to 75-80%. The problem of different interpretations of data is liquidated that led to fall forward of acceptance of management decisions.
