The large-scale automobile dealer and the importer, AIS Group, after successful system implementation of budget management (IBM Cognos 8 Planning), implemented the system of the business analysis and reporting of IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence.

The main objectives which were set for an implementation project of a system of the business analysis and reporting were: development of the uniform corporate data warehouse, integration of the data warehouse with four main sources of data of Group (Microsoft Navision Microsoft Axapta 1C IBM Cognos 8 Planning), development and setup of a system KPI of indicators, setup of dashboards, setup of set of multidimensional cubes and itemized statements. At the same time, providing a flexible solution architecture which further, at change of business processes of the company, would allow to execute painless transformation of a system or its scaling was one of key requirements put before the project.

For implementation of the tasks, the AIS Group selected the system of the business analysis and reporting of IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence. The Yunik Business Consulting company became service provider on system implementation.

At the time of the choice of service provider on development of a data warehousing framework and system implementation of IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence, the AIS Group already had experience of cooperation with Yunik Business Consulting company. Earlier, together with Yunik Business Kosalting company the project on system implementation of budget management of IBM Cognos 8 Planning was successfully implemented, and when carrying out the tender, it repeatedly passed all created qualification requirements.

Summing up the project implementation results, the project manager from AIS Group, Denis Nakvakin noted: "Today, already for anybody not a secret that 2009 was characteristic considerable sales reduction in all directions of the automotive industry. In such situation, when obtaining information on activity of the company, more than ever earlier, the efficiency and accuracy became valuable.

Fast and harmonious work was interfered by a large number of the actions connected with information processing, time lags at data acquisition and also the considerable business risks connected with insufficient relevance of data. On "game" there were a lot of things, and as a result, the decision needed to be made quickly.

We invested and received dividends in the form of considerable decrease in labor and finance costs for preparation of the reporting, an opportunity to react more quickly to changes of the current business environment, significant risk reduction at decision making".
