The administration of the Pskov region equips passenger transport with modules of satellite monitoring of GLONASS system

ENDS-Pskov LLC carries out equipment of passenger transport of the Pskov region by the satellite equipment, the software solution in the project - "Navigator-S".

Solution

According to the signed contract, within two coming months on transport 362 sets of navigation equipment will be installed. The State committee of the Pskov region on transport and communication acts as the customer. The system of satellite monitoring "Navigator-S" will allow to define location of buses in real time, to coordinate routes and the schedule of transport, in case of non-staff situations quickly to cause the help.

- The project of equipment of the passenger transport servicing regional, long-distance and international routes is implemented since the end of last year. Based on state enterprise "Pskovavtotrans" the regional center of monitoring of passenger traffic was open, are equipped server and the dispatching center. Implementation of GLONASS technologies will allow to increase traffic safety and to control work of the transport sector, - the head of ENDS-Pskov LLC Vladimir Gorshkov notes.

During the project the regional automated system of supervisory control by transportations using GLONASS technologies will be created.
