The administration of the Segezha municipal district implements Bezopasny gorod agrarian and industrial Complex

On October 3, 2013 it became known that in the city of Segezha of the Republic of Karelia the video surveillance hardware-software complex the "Safe city" intended for technical support of services of public security and creation of comfortable conditions of accommodation of citizens began to work. Start of a system is performed in September, 2013. The Karelian branch of Rostelecom provided a technical part of project implementation.

Project Progress

Within the project the Rostelecom company mounts 7 cameras of outside video surveillance, 4 points of an emergency communication "Citizen police" and the automated workplace in the district department of internal affairs (DDIA). The company purchased and installed the video server equipment, the software Intelligence, the terminal equipment, installation is performed, commissioning of the equipment is carried out, data transmission channels from vantage points to the District Department of Internal Affairs are organized. All information arriving from video cameras is available to police officers and is processed in real time.
