2024: Completion of the first stages on the implementation of domestic software

Astra Group and Peremena Group of Companies on December 23, 2024 announced the completion of the first stages of a large-scale plan to introduce domestic software (hereinafter referred to as software) into the IT infrastructure of the Voronezh Region Government, regional executive bodies and subordinate organizations.

The main task of the project is to develop and implement an import-substituted working environment for the infrastructure of workstations of employees of the Government of the Voronezh Region, executive bodies and subordinate organizations of the Voronezh Region, as well as the implementation of services for the development of the customer's supporting infrastructure, including the supply of software, licenses and the implementation of software installation and configuration. The total number of automated workplaces to be migrated under the project is at least 1500.

The Customer has performed a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the available products market IT. As a result of the competitive selection, it was chosen software from Astra Group: a centralized catalog service, ALD Pro a single solution for data protection and recovery RuBackup OS and special purpose. It should be noted that this will further reduce the cost of administering an import-substituted working environment, since all selected products make up a single ecosystem.

As of December 2024, Peremena Group of Companies completed the first three stages. As part of the first phase, a test area was deployed for testing and a technical project was developed. At the second stage, part of the licenses was transferred. On the third, the formation of a productive environment began, integration with the existing directory service based on Microsoft Active Directory was carried out, the Astra Linux operating system was installed at the first 83 workplaces. The rest will be transferred in 2025-2026.

The completion of the first three stages of the project demonstrates the reliability and effectiveness of Astra Group solutions in the field of software import substitution.
