Customers: Aeroflot

Moscow; Transport

Project date: 2016/03  - 2017/03

Aeroflot in cooperation with the Federal Customs Service (FCS of Russia) the first of the Russian airlines in the spring of 2017 performed transition to automated information system of providing the preliminary information in the relation (electronic customs declaring) of aircrafts and the loads moved with them on the international runs.

Implementation of this system will allow to refuse completely further use of paper carriers in the course of preparation of the general declaration of the aircraft by carrier which includes the data on the aircraft, supplies, passengers, goods necessary for the customs purposes and adoption of the relevant decisions by customs authority.

Providing data in electronic form considerably reduces time of airline for preparation of documents and time of commission of customs transactions from customs authorities that in general optimizes process of cargo delivery and accelerates the procedure of goods receipt by the consignee. At the same time the quality of customs control continues to remain at the high level as the analysis of the provided information begins before arrival of the vehicle and is carried out as it is automated, and the official directly.

Work on transition to electronic declaring is conducted by Aeroflot in cooperation with FCS of Russia within implementation of the decision of the Eurasian economic commission "About the preliminary information at commodity importation on customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union by air transport". In 2013 Aeroflot together with FCS of Russia began development of automated information system of electronic customs declaring of aircrafts which in 2016 passed preliminary test and in 2017 is successfully implemented in commercial operation.

Now cooperation in this direction continues. FCS of Russia and Aeroflot are aimed at transition to complete electronic interaction from providing preliminary data before release of goods.
