Main objective of the signed agreement on strategic cooperation between NIS GLONASS and administration of Tula region is creation of uniform navigation information space of Tula region and its integration into uniform federal navigation structure (platform). Formation of strategic partnership with NIS GLONASS will contribute to the social and economic and technology development of area, increasing the level of security of the population and prevention of road accident.
One of the main directions of cooperation – deployment in the territory of Tula region of a federal system of the emergency reaction at accidents of "ERA-GLONASS" based on multifunction receiving devices of domestic production. In particular, within the agreement NIS GLONASS will render assistance to executive authorities of area on creation of the Uniform Centralized Dispatching Service (UCDS) on control of transport. Besides, for the benefit of Tula region NIS GLONASS will carry out expertizes in a scope of solutions and the equipment based on GLONASS, to approve requirements to the navigation equipment of consumers. Also interaction when developing long-term target programs, creation of pilot zones of testing of navigation systems and holding joint actions is planned.
Specialists of the Federal network operator will also develop offers on upgrade of infrastructure of area, to provide administrations analytical information on modern developments in the field of navigation satellite systems.
The operator "NIS GLONASS" conducts active work on development of cooperation with regions of Russia already for a long time. For example, in February of the current year the relevant agreements with the Novgorod and Pskov regions, Kamchatka Krai and the Republic of Chuvashia were signed. One of the main directions of cooperation as well as in a case with Tula region is deployment of the federal ERA-GLONASS system. Special attention at the same time is paid to development of digital navigation charts of regions and their integration into uniform cartographic space of the Russian Federation.
Earlier similar agreements were also signed with the cities of Barnaul and Khabarovsk, the Volgograd, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, Saratov and Smolensk regions, Primorsky Krai, the Republics of Altai, Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Mari El and Tatarstan.
