2021: "Agrico" selects "Kleverens" to simultaneously identify the commodity by two different barcodes
Detailed description
Cultivation, processing, storage and sale of agricultural products are complex processes that require not only the attention of employees, but also accuracy in accounting. And the final profit depends on the relevance of the data. And the decision to automate all operations, thereby providing additional control, the more rational and correct, the higher the company's position in the market.
Group of companies "AGRICO" - 100 thousand hectares of land, and 450 thousand heads of livestock on fattening. The main activities of the Civil Code include crop, vegetable and animal husbandry. In addition, the group's enterprises are engaged in the processing, storage and sale of agricultural products. And also occupy leading positions in the industry.
Employees of AGRICO agricultural holding have been recording goods in warehouses for several years using the 1C: Trading Enterprise Management 11.4 system and ATOL Smart.Lite, Datalogic Memor X3 and CipherLab mobile equipment. However, the shipping documentation data and the third-party software installed on them did not close all of the company's tasks in automating warehouse operations.
The accounting was in some ways incorrect: the barcodes did not contain all the necessary information about the batches, production date and weight of the finished products, so there was a constant need to replace them. In this regard, AGRICO representatives turned to the Russian developer Kleverens in search of a solution that would allow changing the universal label used to label products within the company.
Tasks
Automation of warehouse processes has many advantages over manual accounting. But also a number of "pitfalls." Since the lion's share of success depends on how much software for data collection terminals copes with the volume of the range, what business tasks it closes and whether it is convenient for line personnel to work.
The head IT of the department of the AGRICO Group of Companies decided to replace ON for mobile ones computers used in the warehouse of the agricultural holding. To urgently solve the internal tasks of the enterprise, first implemented. "Shop 15" But testing software it showed that more advanced functionality is needed. Again I had to monitor the market and look for a suitable program in the same price segment. As a result, they again chose "Kleverens."
Decision
The use of technologies and software helps to optimize business processes and improve the efficiency of the entire company. The time for performing routine tasks is reduced by 50%, the likelihood of errors due to the human factor is almost completely eliminated, and the quality of products or services is growing. It is impossible to overestimate the benefits of automation.
The main advantage of Warehouse 15, which was eventually chosen by representatives of Agroholding AGRICO, was the ability to display up-to-date information about goods on the screen of the data collection terminal. Such a mechanism allowed the warehouse manager to carry out various warehouse operations - acceptance and shipment of goods, interaction with suppliers, cancellation of orders, without being distracted by reconciliation with data in 1C.
During the integration process, there was a problem: when scanning barcodes, only "valid to" data was displayed. But the production date is equally important information. And it was necessary to configure the software so that when scanning the barcode, it was also displayed on the shipping documentation screen. IT specialists of the AGRICO Group of Companies were able to cope with this task on their own after consulting with the technical support of Kleverens.
After some time, the storekeepers of Agroholding raised the issue of the need to additionally configure mobile software so that it was possible to simultaneously identify the same unit of goods in the 1C database using two different barcodes from suppliers. This revision in Warehouse 15 made it possible not to wait a week or two for the second ShK to become available for reading, but to immediately work in the usual mode.
After the introduction of Warehouse 15, the Agroholding specialists conducted training on working with shipping documentation for all employees of the organization. Currently, storekeepers and warehouse managers are provided with mobile computers. In total, 8 terminals with Kleverens software are used. The AGRICO Group of Companies management plans to expand the equipment fleet with devices from Honeywell. Data exchange between 1C and data collection terminals was configured online, which ensures the speed of operations and eliminates the possibility of errors, since information is transmitted from the server.
Results
To increase the company's profit, you can produce more products, expand the client network, and increase the workload on personnel. Or you can just take the routine from people and give it to specialized software - automate the execution of warehouse and commodity operations. Thus, reduce the amount of routine work on invoicing, invoicing and database maintenance.
The result of the introduction of Warehouse 15 from Kleverens was the ability to control the shelf life of the product from the very moment of its production. Storekeepers can now track the entire path of each individual item from manufacture to shipment to the final buyer. And the ability to simultaneously identify goods using two different barcodes has made it many times easier to keep inventory records.
