AiTeco builds the power center for agricultural complex East in Stavropol Territory

RASSE company (AiTeco Group) will construct the power center for electro-and heat supplies of agricultural complex East in Stavropol Krai. The area of industrial greenhouses will be 22.7 hectares, expected production volume of vegetables – to 16 thousand tons per year, reported on March 12, 2018 in AiTeco company.

Prerequisites

Activity of agricultural complex East in Levokumsky district of Stavropol Krai is recognized high-priority and socially important for the region. The project investment cost is estimated at 4.85 billion rubles. In addition to own means of the investor, to the enterprise 3.5 billion rubles on the terms of preferential financing of HSC will be selected. Introduction of an object to commercial operation, as expected, will allow to create 300 additional jobs and will increase tax payments in the budget by 300 million rubles.

Work of the agroenterprise is organized by the principle of eco-friendly vegetable growing. Cultivation of tomatoes and cucumbers in the protected soil for their year-round implementation in the territory of Russia will be performed by a method of a small-volume hydroponics using the systems of drop irrigation, fertilizing by a carbon dioxide gas, a zashtorivaniye, managements of a microclimate. In addition, at the enterprise will install the equipment on sorting and packaging of products.

Cultivation of ecologically safe vegetable cultures using modern production technologies requires regular power supply of systems and noticeably increases an expense of the electric power and heat that affects also product cost — Dmitry Shishin, the deputy CEO of agricultural complex East noted. — Therefore we made the decision on construction of own mini-combined heat and power plants which use will allow to lower energy costs, at the same time having provided competitive prices of our vegetables.

Project Progress

The complex of works on construction of mini-combined heat and power plant is performed by a technical command of RASSE company which specializes in construction of facilities of "turnkey" small generation based on gas-piston and gas turbine units. Stages of the project include design of infrastructure of power supply taking into account the area of greenhouses and volume of the grown-up cultures, supply of equipment, installation and construction works and start of the autonomous power center in operation.

Self-contained gas-piston units will provide a complex with the electric power, available at the price, and heat.

Expenses of hothouse complexes on the electric power can make up to 40% of product cost. At rather low construction and operating costs of mini-combined heat and power plant provide high efficiency of investments: the cost of the electric power made by them is much lower than the cost of the energy received from network — Stanislav Zhdanov, the director of the department of generation of RASSE company explained. — We regard use of opportunities of small-scale power generation as very perspective, relevant and demanded by the Russian enterprises, and our project in Stavropol Territory — to that convincing confirmation.

The innovation equipment which will allow to reduce product cost does this project optimal based on the ratio of costs and to technological effectiveness level. The Certhon company (Netherlands) acts as the supplier of constructions and materials. Construction of autonomous mini-combined heat and power plant which will work without synchronization with network is conducted based on gas-piston installations with a total power of 13.7 MW from MWM company (Germany). Power units of open execution will be placed in the easily combined building near a hothouse complex.

The construction of the power center for agricultural complex East is going to be completed in 2018. As of March 12 RASSE company already supplied the equipment of MWM on the platform of the customer.
