Agroindustrial Complex has introduced a BI management system in the pig industry. The company announced this on September 6, 2024.

The IT solution analyzes the activities of all 24 pig farms of the Group of Companies.

Every day, in automatic mode, the BI system collects 1700 indicators and visualizes them into a single dashboard. For example, these are data on livestock with details of animals by group, average daily gains, information on the implementation of live animals for slaughter.

Also, the system receives data from elevators in terms of grain storage volume and from feed mills in terms of granular feed production volume, and even the amount of useful elements contained in them is reflected: fiber, calcium, protein, phosphorus, etc. The volume of feed consumption is recorded. And most importantly − the system not only consolidates information from objects in the chain of the full cycle of pork production, but also analyzes it. For example, it determines at what diet the maximum animal gain is achieved.

Preparation of consolidated statements on a daily basis improves the quality of management decisions, − said Alexey Leonov, Director of the Information Technology Department of Agropromkomplektatsiya Group of Companies. − The system gives us objective data on the verified methodology. Resources are not spent on the collection and processing of information, the human factor is excluded. Through a comparative analysis of the activities of pig farms, it is possible to identify the best practices. The total economic effect of the activity is calculated.
