2018: Implementation of "1C:ERP Agro-Industrial Complex"

Company Overview and Project Context

Agroholding "Fertility," created by the Group "Akron" in 2008, is engaged in the implementation of agroprojects, as well as testing and implementation of promising brands of fertilizers. The holding includes several large agricultural enterprises located in different regions of Russia, and actively develops technologies in the field of agriculture.

Before the start of the project, each of the holding companies used different information systems, which made it difficult to exchange data and affected the efficiency of decision-making and the quality of reporting. In this regard, in 2017, it was decided to introduce a unified information system to automate business processes based on the 1C:ERP Agro-Industrial Complex.

Project objectives

The purpose of the implementation was to create a single information platform that would ensure the efficiency of interaction between the holding companies and improve the quality of business processes. Among the key objectives of the project:

  • Creation of a single information channel for all holding companies for prompt interaction and elimination of data loss.
  • Standardize business processes across all enterprises.
  • Maintain different accounting types in a single database.
  • Reducing the labor intensity of accounting, reducing the time and improving the reliability of reporting.
  • Increase the efficiency of business processes through maximum automation.
  • Planning the work in the fields and then displaying the information in the system.

Implementation process

The project started with a pilot implementation in the Kubris company, which is part of the holding. As part of the pilot stage, directories, warehouse balances and settlements with counterparties were transferred, as well as user training was carried out. After the successful completion of the pilot project, the solution was extended to three other enterprises of the holding: Fertility-Saratov, Fertility-Lukoyanov and Zvyaginki.

One of the most important elements of the project was the introduction of the Agrosignal system, which made it possible to track the effectiveness of equipment in fields in real time. This significantly improved control over production processes, and integration with the ICAR system ensured the ability to analyze grain quotes and forecast revenues.

Project uniqueness

The project for Fertility has become unique in the field of agro-industrial business thanks to several key innovations:

  • Integration with Agrosignal: This made it possible to fully track data on technology, field work and fuel and lubricant consumption in real time. This level of control contributed to the prompt response to changes and the identification of problem areas.
  • Cost Analysis Plan: As part of the implementation, a system was implemented that allows you to keep records of direct and indirect costs for crops, fields and crops. This made it possible to significantly improve planning accuracy and cost control.
  • Automation of interaction: All enterprises of the holding began to operate in a single information system, which ensured the receipt of consolidated reporting and acceleration of all business processes.
  • Integration with government systems: The implemented solution allowed the automation of data exchange with the Ministry of Agriculture, which ensured compliance and statistical reporting.

Project results

The implementation of the project brought significant results:

  • Unified database: All enterprises of the holding operate in the same system, which has improved control over financial and production processes. This allowed owners and management to receive consolidated statements in real time.
  • Reduced labor costs: Automation and integration of various processes significantly reduced the time required for data entry, reporting, and operations.
  • Increased transparency of processes: Integration with Agrosignal and a plan-based analysis system made it possible to accurately track fuel consumption, yield and other key indicators in the fields. This made it possible to increase efficiency at all levels.
  • Improving operational efficiency: The process of planning work in the fields has become more accurate, which has made it possible to allocate resources more efficiently and improve profitability.
  • Reducing the impact of the human factor: Automation of a significant number of processes has reduced the likelihood of errors related to manual data entry and increased the overall reliability of the system.

Conclusion

The project of introducing 1C:ERP agro-industrial complex into the agricultural holding "Fertility" has become a vivid example of a successful digital transformation in the agricultural sector. As a result of the implementation, the holding received a powerful system that automated key business processes, increased operational efficiency and ensured the transparency of all operations. The project won the 1C Project of the Year 2019 award, confirming its success and importance for agribusiness.
