Innoware completed the first stage of implementation of a single system of resource management of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV enterprise thanks to what Ahmad Tea in Russia had an opportunity effectively to manage warehouses, purchases, sales and production. The next stage over which work – management of finance and payroll began.
To Ahmad Tea in Russia it is provided by factory at which there is a blending and batching of tea for Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and some other countries. Need for implementation of the unified information system ripened in connection with opaque and labor-intensive process of receiving up-to-date and exact information by the management. So, earlier accounting at the enterprise was kept in "1C: Enterprise", operational accounting was separated between 1C and Microsoft Office of Excel, and the management reporting completely prepared in Excel. Systems among themselves were not properly integrated, and as a result data were entered by the staff of the enterprise not once, information in a system had no obkhodimy level of reliability that complicated acceptance of management decisions. Such situation also did not allow factory to plan production processes, forcing to use methods of the simplified forecasting.
The choice of the platform was influenced by experience of parent company in Great Britain. At the central office of the international company and also divisions on Sri Lanka and in the UAE Ahmad Tea uses many years the ERP system of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. On this platform process management of sales, purchases, inventory accounting and address storage, accounting and production planning, the analysis of business indicators by means of BI are implemented. Therefore a choice was made for benefit of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
The project was entrusted to be executed consulting company Innoware which since 2006 services offices Ahmad Tea, helping to develop and implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV. At the first stage of the project in the Russian factory consultants of Innoware made a number of modifications of a system which purpose was a simplification and acceleration of process of data entry. Besides, products cost accounting method depending on raw materials type was developed (own or to be provided) and also fitting algorithms and placements of goods in a cell-like warehouse are finished. Already now, according to preliminary estimates Innoware, upon termination of the first stage of system implementation productivity of employees who are its users will grow by 20-30%.
