2019: Implementation of Datareon ESB Data Service Bus

In November 2019, Axelot announced that in order to ensure the guaranteed loading of flight schedules and other important information from specialized international databases into the operational planning system for loading aircraft on the 1C: Enterprise platform (1C SOP), the management of AirBridgCargo planned the introduction of the DATAREON ESB data service bus. The work within the project was carried out by DATAREON specialists.

Thanks to the introduction of the data bus, it was possible to configure the download of flight schedules from the international database Cargospot (Oracle), data on the crew of flights from the international database (MSSQL), data on check lists from the database of Sheremetyevo International Airport to 1C DIS .

Since the databases were read-only and there was no ability to track changes, it was decided to upload in a longer period of time to increase the likelihood of getting up-to-date information. To transfer more information, SQL queries had to be optimized.

During the configuration of integration with the 1C system through the pipe channel, possible optimization points were identified in the operation of the DATAREON ESB Interaction Subsystem. In order to ensure the desired performance for ABC, this subsystem has been finalized, which made it possible to achieve the necessary indicators.

Also, data from the CDMP service, which is responsible for booking flights, is uploaded to the DWH repository. A special connector has been developed to configure integration with the CDMP system.

In addition, integration with the Accuity system was first configured, a feature of which was the connection to a system physically located in London (UK). Thus, three-way integration was implemented between the international Cargospot database, the DWH repository and the Accuity system.
