The Dutch Air Force bought 6 thousand Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphones

At the end of November, 2018 Dutch Air Force (Royal Netherlands Air Force) about 6 thousand became known of purchase smartphones Samsung. It is about model Galaxy S9 Enterprise Edition.

Under the terms of the agreement, Samsung not only will deliver to the customer the specified number of devices, but also will provide free of charge updates for ensuring safe work of tubes within four years. The cost of the contract does not reveal.

As reported in the Air Force of the Netherlands, military and air troops are concentrated on use of information technologies, as pushed them to large-scale purchase of the Samsung phones.

Aviation command is in process of transition to fifth generation of the Air Force, and this concentration is expressed in attention to IT — the major general Mario Verbeek says. — These ambitions in combination with good practicians of enrollment and effective use of the state led to what the Air Force decided to provide to each employee the Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone.[1]

The Samsung Galaxy S9 Enterprise Edition model addressed to corporate clients was provided at the beginning of 2018. In assortment of the South Korean producer there is still a device Galaxy A8 Enterprise Edition which is also held for use in the companies.

The main thing and the only hardware difference of Galaxy S9 Enterprise Edition from the standard version is in simultaneous support of two SIM cards thanks to what users will be able not to switch between the personal and working device, using one smartphone for all occasions.
