Airbus Helicopters will equip light helicopters with the Russian GLONASS receiver-indicators

On May 25, 2018 it became known that the Airbus Helicopters company announced receiving approval of the Russian aviation authorities on installation of the GLONASS receiver-indicator of production of the Ramenskoye of Instrument-making Design Office (RIMDO) on the H130 helicopters. The Russian TSS receiver-indicator is certified on regulations of the European agency on safety of air transportation (EASA) and Federal Air Transport Agency of the Russian Federation as an auxiliary source of navigation data. For the Russian operators the device can be installed as an option.
"The first product was certified for the H135 helicopters (then designated as EC135) in 2010, and a half of the park of the H135 helicopters in Russia it is equipped with GLONASS receiver-indicators now. We followed requirements of Russian authorities that in cooperation with Ramenskoye by instrument-making bureau to create the priyemoidikator delivered as a factory option on the H130 helicopters. TSS provides display of a relief in the plan or a profile and can act as the indicator of the TTA-12 early warning system which is also delivered by RPKB. Parameters of flight information can be written on the removable drive. Thus, the pilot will be able to obtain information on a flight trajectory with a possibility of imposing on the topographic map and to use different layers of air navigation information, including a zone of restriction of flight and others.
