In August, 2017 in Yekaterinburg court pronounced a conviction to two swindlers who stole personal data of a part of subscribers internet- provider AKADO-Ekaterinburg. It is the first case when similar matter in Yekaterinburg came to court and a real sentence as usually affected company extremely not easy to collect necessary proofs, declared in Internet service provider.

DLP system

As explained in Akado-Ekaterinburg, an incident managed to be brought to judicial proceedings thanks to DLP- to a system "Circuit of information security of SearchInform" and professional actions of specialists of department "To" MUNICIPAL DEPARTMENT OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS on Sverdlovsk region.

Annually the company faces 3-4 attempts of plunder of a part of personal and other data. With its help in August, 2016 cracking of the database and downloading of personal data of a part of subscribers was revealed" — the security director of Akado-Ekaterinburg Andrey Pereskokov explained.

Malefactors

In November, 2016 concerning malefactors criminal case which was taken later to court was brought. On August 5, 2017 the conviction was pronounced to each defendant: 2 years of imprisonment are conditional (violation of requirements of Part 2 and 3 of Article 272, Part 3 of Article 183 and Part 5 of Article 33 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
