2021: Implementation of Contract Designer in ISA ERP System

On October 25, 2021, the Akron group, a producer of mineral fertilizers, announced that as part of the implementation of the IT strategy, it had introduced the Contract Designer module in the ISA corporate ERP system, which significantly accelerated the process of concluding contracts with the group's companies.

To implement the Contract Designer, the Business Process Planning and Organization Team, together with the IT department, selected the method of automatic contract generation in the ISA system based on standard forms developed by the legal department and all interested divisions of the company. When forming a new contract in the corporate ISA system, the user enters information about the counterparty and selects the necessary standard form, on the basis of which the system automatically creates a contract ready for agreement and, if necessary, generates a procurement specification.

According to the results of the use of the "Contract Designer" for 2020-2021, the terms of concluding contracts have decreased by more than half.

"As part of the task of automating the contract process, the Legal Office analyzed the current practice in the Akron Group, took into account the recommendations of the Procurement Department and other specialized departments, as a result of which 20 standard forms of contracts were developed covering all possible areas of procurement - supply, provision of services, as well as performance of work. Different standard conditions have been provided within each contract group, depending on the purchasing specifics. Simplified forms have been prepared for urgent procurement. The procedure for using the developed standard forms of contracts was regulated in detail in the local act of the company, "said Pavel Vavilov, head of the Legal Department of PJSC Akron.
