2020: Implementation of a sensing technology of passports, identity certificates and maps

Alfa-Bank Kazakhstan implemented a sensing technology of passports, identity certificates (ID cards) of the Republic of Kazakhstan and all types of bank cards in mobile application. The Russian research company Smart Engines became software provider. The last reported about it on October 23, 2020.

Function of scanning of all types of bank cards, including the embossed and not embossed cards and also maps with vertical orientation and with data on a reverse side became available to account replenishment, making payments and money transfers in mobile bank.

Smart Engines technologies are based on scientific achievements in the field of artificial intelligence and provide the speed, accuracy, security and ease in use. The system of recognition works in any conditions — at bad and excess lighting, on the run, at a trip to the subway or to the taxi. Recognition is executed for fractions of a second, and is safe in terms of processing of personal and sensitive data as all calculations are executed on the mobile phone without transfer of images on processing in external services.
