2025: Move to Axiom Runtime Container

Alfa-Bank transferred the microservice CRM platform to work in departments on the Russian Java-technology. CRM Java Lightweight containers are used for work, Axiom Runtime Container which increases the safety and performance of high-load services. The system on the Russian Java stack Axiom JDK has been operating in industrial operation since 2024 and serves over 20 thousand employees bank every day. Axiom JDK announced this on July 17, 2025.

The use of Axiom JDK technologies plays an important role in the stable and uninterrupted operation of high-load systems in the bank's IT landscape. With an optimized Java execution environment and a system approach to security and performance, the reliability required to keep the CRM platform running smoothly is ensured.

The bank received guaranteed availability of Docker images of the distribution kit, regardless of external factors, such as the inaccessibility of the Docker Hub. This step strengthened technological independence and increased the reliability of IT infrastructure.

Alfa-Bank's CRM platform is built on the basis of a microservice architecture using Java, Kotlin and Spring Boot, which gives flexibility, fault tolerance and the ability to quickly update individual services without stopping the entire system. This approach helps to efficiently manage high load, as well as increase scalability and reliability. The project uses a state-of-the-art technology stack and microservice approaches, paying close attention to safety and a high degree of automation at all stages of the production process.
