Alfa-Bank transferred process of formation of tax statements to the SAP platform

In December, 2017 Alfa-Bank, SAP CIS and MOLGA Consulting announced project completion on reengineering of processes of preparation and consolidation of data for formation of tax statements on the PIT on the SAP BW platform.

Alfa-Bank became the first among the Russian banks which transferred process of reporting according to the PIT to the SAP BW platform. The new solution quickly loads data from all systems sources of Alfa-Bank, including data on the processes considered in SAP HCM, to broker, depository and retail operations. A system is capable not only to aggregate quickly information, it also consolidates and checks data, identifies and correlates individuals according to personal data.

SAP BW locates ready data structures and automatically creates any forms of tax statements according to the PIT set by Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation (2-PIT statements, quarterly calculations 6-NDFL, the reporting under broker and depository operations as a part of the declaration on income tax). The new solution also allows to keep analytical accounting of income of individuals according to requirements of the Tax Code.

The specifics of the banking sector in the field of the PIT that banks act as tax agents not only for the employees, but also for numerous clients, and it require consolidation of data from several systems. A new system has high performance, provides fast and high-quality reporting and also supports various control procedures and wide analytics — Alina Kokhno, the minister for taxation of Alfa-Bank emphasized.

Implementation of processes in a new system will simplify work on reporting.
