Mail.Ru Group created for Alfa-Bank the platform of data on the basis of Tarantool

On August 16, 2018 Mail.Ru Group announced development for Alfa-Bank a transaction core based on DBMS Tarantool. Within the Mail.Ru Group joint project and Alfa-Bank the single platform data which covers all user transactions is created and provides the reporting in real time.

The platform of data on the basis of Tarantool allows to store constantly changing difficult business objects and to receive analytical reports in real time. Thanks to its use the bank can address quickly and on a centralized basis all transaction data from the different systems, including transactions with securities, the derivative financial instruments, card transactions, transfers on the account, deposits and the credits.

Also provided platform gives to bank the chance to offer clients access to the consolidated data on investment transactions from the main accounting systems in different representations. Investment business can significantly reduce costs for formation of the obligatory reporting according to the changing requirements of regulators.

In a core based on Tarantool information on transactions and quotations and also the reference information can be stored. Data will be transformed to a uniform format according to the model put in a system by analysts of bank. It allows analysts to do the description of business models in the necessary language and to unify data in a core. Requests to distributed system of storage of objects are made by means of the GraphQL language.

It not our first implementation in the financial sector. Our technologies provide instant access to analytics in real time.
