Alice (Buhta: Warehouse complex)

and this week the agreement on automation of a distributor warehouse of Alice company based on WMS "BUHTA is signed: Warehouse Complex".

The Alice company is one of leaders of the Russian market of finishing materials. The range of the offered goods makes more than 20,000 names. Regional shipments on own retail chain stores are conducted with a distributor warehouse of the company.

Before implementation the WMS BAY the warehouse worked at a 1C system which was not assuming use of address storage.

"At a stage of the choice of a system for the warehouses, our specialists analyzed the offers existing in the market and gave preference to BUHTA. When choosing, first of all, the quality of a system, its functionality, an optimal ratio price/quality, a possibility of independent completions, a possibility of replication of a system to regions and the minimum implementation time were considered. For us the possibility of gradation of a warehouse from paper technology on mobile without stopping shipments became especially significant", - the logistics director of Alice company Sergey Kitayev noted.

Now in the warehouse "Alice" the paper technology of processing of goods is used. At traditional translation on mobile technology the complete stop of work of a warehouse, a joint inventory, processing of goods by means of mobile terminals and data loading in a single system is supposed. However the stop of work of a warehouse even for several days is not always acceptable. A WMS system BUHTA consistently transfers a warehouse to mobile technology for certain sectors – inventory of a certain section by means of data collection terminals and its full translation on mobile technology is carried out. Thus, at expansion of the part managed on mobile technology there is substitution of paper technology without stopping of work of all warehouse. Using this technology of soft junction, it is going to transfer 3 warehouses of Alice company with a total area about 13 thousand sq.m to the BAY in the shortest possible time.

According to the agreement, in the warehouse "Alice" the "turnkey" automation including design of a LAN, delivery of the software and the necessary equipment including – 17 mobile terminals of data collection MS-9090 will be executed. Also it is going to execute integration with the accounting system of 1C regarding document flow.

One of features of a warehouse which it was necessary to face at automation – rolled storage of goods (carpets, linoleum) without use a pallet.

Further the Alice company is going to continue cooperation with BUHTA company in automation of the warehouses.
