2020: Report Alidi on results of implementation of the digital Novo Forecast Enterprise system

On November 6, 2020 it became known that the Alidi company reported on results of implementation of a digital system of demand forecasting of Novo Forecast Enterprise.

Prior to cooperation with Novo BI in Alidi used own forecasting methods of demand, but their accuracy was less than 50%. For more effective solution of tasks it was necessary to find a qualitative product with a serious mathematical apparatus.

As such tool the distributor selected the digital Novo Forecast Enterprise system – the solution of the domestic developer, resident the innovation center "Skolkovo" of Novo BI. A system allows the customer to implement the main principles of the organization of the uniform digital-environment for joint work:

• high accuracy of the forecast of a millet,
• possibility of the organization of the integrated planning in a system,
• existence of modern ML-algorithms
• freeware distribution of information,
• all actions in a system are approved,
• access and responsibility are personalized,
• the action plan miscalculates for each department (sales, logistics, finance) and suppliers.

In process of development of functionality of a system the staff of divisions from the different countries and also partners of the company was connected to it. Forecast accuracy increased with each cycle of forecasting. In a year a system completely came to the planned use scale. In Alidi the uniform center of forecasting where several dozens of users began to work was created, and today their number grew to several hundred.

Results and effects of work of the digital Novo Forecast Enterprise system in Alidi

• more than 350 users from the different countries daily make plans and predict demand in a system;
• the forecasting cycle is completely automated;
• forecasting accuracy – in the separate directions increased to 98%;
• speed of forecast calculation grew in tens of times;
• speed of decision making grew more than twice;
• illiquid assets decreased by 50%;
• level of service grew to 98% without superstocks.

In the current year considerably the interest of the companies grew from retail, logistics, distribution and production to IT developments of the Russian vendors which help to organize the integrated and end-to-end planning on the basis of exact forecasts and detailed analytics. The companies process more and more data and want to create more precisely and more qualitatively a demand forecast. All industry aims to lower an uncertainty share in the market, rallying with partners and opening to cooperation.
