Allied Telesis and Rosintel together built multiservice network

The Allied Telesis company, the supplier of the protected solutions for switching of IP/Ethernet networks and the equipment for networks with TriplePlay services, announced supply of equipment for creation of Rosintel Ltd network, one of leaders in the Tula region in the market of complex telecommunication services.

At creation of monthly growing network which port capacity is already more than 35,000 ports the AT-x908 switches in a core of network, AT-x600 as the aggregating switches and AT-8000S on access were used, and the architecture of "VLAN on the subscriber" allowed to limit access rate in a local network only to parameters of subscriber port. Access rate in the Internet depends on a tariff plan, and the current number of subscribers totals more than 25,000 people. The network has uniform VLAN of management, and the RSTP protocol is isolated on areas.

The complex service of IPTV gradually is implemented into networks of the operator (now the service of digital television is provided in the test mode).

Besides, the equipment Allied Telesis is used during program implementation "The safe city" in municipal entities Novomoskovsk, Donskoy, Bogoroditsk within which emergency services and law enforcement agencies of the city were equipped with modern technical means and the systems of informing.

The solutions Allied Telesis were used for ensuring video surveillance, and also for the purpose of the organization of a common information space for public services of the city. All outdoor cameras of the city were provided with inter-chip digital links with an output to the panel of the person on duty of the ATC; also forward channels of communication for organizations of secondary, higher and preschool education with an output to the panel of fire protection were organized.
