Norbit, with the participation of AAA Inform, launched into productive operation a corporate information system based on SAP applications in the ALMIS chain of stores.
Ahead of
The previous systems did not provide the necessary level of management of the company's business processes in achieving business development and increasing growth rates. The management of "ALMIS" believed that enterprise management systems need consistent improvement. It was decided to implement a single integrated information system based on SAP products. The tender was announced, which was won by Norbit and AAA Inform.
The main goals of the system implementation project are to support the rapidly growing business of the group of companies; providing a development strategy; increasing the flexibility and competitiveness of the business in changing market conditions.
Decision
The CIS implementation project was launched in May 2011 and covered all the main business processes of the company. In particular, the project functional framework included the following units: commodity logistics processes (procurement of goods, raw materials, services and materials, accounting for retro bonuses, automatic replenishment and distribution of goods, assortment management, back-office store processes); pricing and promotion management, retail and wholesale processes; production processes, control of all operations for compliance with the terms of contracts; operational and analytical reporting; financial management; management accounting of costs and revenues; accounting and tax accounting; accounting under IFRS; accounting of fixed assets; accounting of materials and services; Integration with external systems (including EDI with vendors)
Factors
A feature of this project is that the system was simultaneously designed for two divisions - Russian and Belarusian. Integrators noted that during the project it was necessary to balance between the desire to unify business processes within the group of companies and the need to take into account state specifics, including in the field of legislation.
"Thelaunch of the system was calm and confident. Many of our employees have participated in similar events, working for other companies, and have experience and understanding of how this usually goes. In our case, everything went smoothly and without complaints. I believe that this is our common merit and the result of hard and painstaking work throughout the project, which became successful thanks to the professionalism of both teams, "said Irina Mikhailus, financial director of the ALMIS group of companies.
Immediately after the completion of the work, the implementation of the second stage functionality began: in August 2012, a project was launched to introduce a system for managing distribution centers in Russia and Belarus based on the SAP EWM solution.
