On November 28, 2017 the group InfoWatch announced implementation DLP- systems InfoWatch Traffic Monitor to IT infrastructure the headquarters of insurance company AlphaInsurance.
Project Tasks
The insurance company uses corporate systems of protection against information leaks more than four years. In 2016 AlphaInsurance made the decision to increase efficiency of protection of the assets, the project of change of supplier of DLP services originated then.
The functionality of a DLP system was required to complement with opportunities of the analysis of content of information flows, blocking of violations, integration with an event management system of information security (SIEM system). An important condition of the project - obligatory adaptation of process of response to incidents according to the existing scheme of their escalation in the company.
Project Results
In 2017 in SG AlphaInsurance put the InfoWatch Traffic Monitor DLP system into operation. In a project deliverable the directions by types of controlled confidential information are expanded, the number of false positive operations was reduced from 33% to 4%.
