2023: Logareon WMS implementation

The area of ​ ​ the Alt warehouse is 10,000 square meters, the assortment is more than 10,000 operating SKUs, but there are fewer types of products, for example: diaries, pens, pencils. Logareon WMS is configured for easy selection so that products of the same type are stored together and not "scattered" around the warehouse. Storage is tiered, a lot of warehouse equipment, selection is carried out in pieces, boxes, and pallets. The system copes with this perfectly, is flexible for all processes, and Alt expects a lot from it.

The introduction of LOGAREON WMS into the Alt warehouse began in January 2022. The preparation was long, but then the old WMS was turned off "one chopper" and a new one was launched.

In addition to the fact that the project team transferred the functionality from the previous system to LOGAREONWMS, a new one was added. The system allows you to keep records of semi-finished products. Moreover, LOGAREONWMS performs a somewhat unusual task for it, it independently leads orders from the Alt online store to the end. How this happens: an order comes from the CIS, the WMS, after the order is collected, calls the courier services itself, then monitors the delivery status and, as soon as the goods are delivered, forms the relevant documents. Previously, the company needed a separate person to perform all these actions, and now WMS is coping on its own.

With all the richness of parameterization and phenomenal performance, the system turned out to be undemanding to hardware and can be deployed on affordable equipment and even in the "cloud," which is currently important.
