2024: Building a portfolio of digital transformation projects

Ammoniy JSC, with the participation of the Sberbank team Digital Transformation as a Service and GlowByte, has formed a digital transformation project for the enterprise. The work was carried out in all areas of activity in order to increase the operational efficiency of processes and increase the competitiveness of the company in the market. GlowByte announced this on November 1, 2024.

The key stage of the project was a two-day strategic session with the participation of representatives of the main business areas of the chemical complex, as well as service services, including commerce, logistics, supply, construction, finance, security, legal unit, HR, communications, IT, analytics. 

Together, a digital transformation map was developed, 132 initiatives were considered and 47 complex projects were formed for their phased implementation. The order of implementation is established based on the economic potential of the projects and the proven technologies.

The project also made it possible to work information out the necessary to launch a pool of initiatives, including not only goals and objectives, but also possible suppliers, the potential economic effect, planned expenses. 

The methodology used combined a professional understanding of the current situation at the enterprise and an expert opinion on the best practices and examples of business digitalization.

Our methodology allows us to get the most practical result for the company - an individual set of digital transformation projects. All initiatives that the pool of specialists is working on are considered according to more than 15 parameters. Projects are not taken from the head or based on trends, but are created in conjunction with company employees and the project team and undergo iterative discussion both during preparation and within the framework of strategic sessions. Representatives of all key business areas, heads of divisions take part in the discussion and final coordination, and this is really important, because it is they who later develop the initiatives,

To maximize the involvement of the Ammonium team, a training seminar was held, in which about 100 people took part. Employees were told about the importance of digitalization and the ability to improve operational processes by introducing the latest information technologies
