Amur Shipping Company (TRIM)

In Amur Shipping Company implementation of the information management system by maintenance and ship repairs on the basis of EAM/MRO-системы Trim is completed. The project was executed by specialists of NPP Spectec. Amur Shipping Company - the largest enterprise of river transport in the Far East of Russia.

During the project all range of services on implementation of the information management system of a MRO is rendered to the client. The project started in May, 2008. The working groups as a part of customer representatives and the contractor headed by the project manager were originally created.

Further examination of processes of a MRO is conducted, will deploy the educational exercise machine at office of shipping company, instructors of the exercise machine and database managers are trained. Instructors provided training at the operating exercise machine for future users of a system.

Creation of the database of a system, directories of a shipboard equipment, directories of spare parts and materials, standard repair sheets for the courts stated under the project became the most labor-consuming task.

The shipping company purchased 39 user licenses of a system which is unrolled in the "office-three remote nodes" configuration. At office a system covered the management, technical service, department of logistics, department of information technologies, economical department, the central warehouse. Three nodes of a system are created on Khabarovsk and Nikolaev - on - Cupid repair and operational bases, and on Malyshevsky repair and settling point.

On nodes, within their local networks, local databases are created. Their synchronization with office database is implemented by means of replicative packets. Now a system is brought into operation.
