In Arbyte company the updated solution of workflow automation is implemented

The Arbyte group carried out implementation of the Vitro software product for optimization of own document flow.

Start

With growth of number of staff of the company the solution for easy access and simple joint work over documents was required.

Before Vitro implementation the company used network storage, but faced a number of typical problems as in terms of convenience, and safety of access to files. In particular, in the company access to documents was not regulated; documents were stored on a public file server; often the documents representing a trade secret appeared in free access; there were no mechanisms of the certificate of the author of changes or all document; it was not represented possible to trace the latest version of the document and the author of changes, etc.

A choice is made for benefit of the Vitro software product: it is developed on the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 platform as the portal with enhanced specific capabilities for system management and joint work. It allows to integrate a product with usual office applications (e-mail, MS Office Word, MS Office Excel, MS Office Project) and many other software products, providing ease of use of a system, fast start of work of users with a system, a minimum of training costs and saving at the same time the usual speed of work of all organization.

Result

In general based on Vitro system implementation the staff of Arbyte had an opportunity: work with the general documents, without interfering with each other, due to use of competitive access to documents at which only one person can make changes to the document once; store the history of work with the document, trace authors of changes, accept and reject changes; configure access rights to documents (viewing, copying, editing); reduce terms of creation or search of the necessary document; lower labor costs on preparation of documents. Now in the company more than 100 people use the software product.
