2023: Implementation of APCS and ESD
A set of construction and installation works was carried out to implement the emergency protection system (ESD) and the automated process control system (APCS) of the chemically hazardous production facility (CHPP) of the Arkhangelsk CHPP. Krug announced this on April 17, 2023.
The server and AWS of the system operator operate under the control of SCADA KRUG-2000, and the controller of the TREI family equipment - under the control of the RVCC developed by NPF KRUG.
KRUG supplied and installed four dosing pumps, developed and implemented SIS and SFRS I&C systems, carried out engineering, construction and installation and commissioning works.
The system covers:
- tank farm with tanks of aggressive media
- filtering room with gage tanks of aggressive media
- electrolysis plant
- pipe rack for discharge of chemically hazardous substances into railway tank cars
- hydrazine facility with a tank of aggressive media.
The technical solutions adopted in the project comply with the requirements of environmental, sanitary and hygienic, fire safety and other standards operating in the territory of the Russian Federation, and ensure the operation of the facility safe for the life and health of people.

Within the framework of maintenance:
- comprehensive diagnostics of network equipment,
- diagnostics of potential software failures based on analysis of system logs and message protocol,
- updating, software SCADA KRUG-2000
- comprehensive serviceability check of system and application software of the system,
- correction of graphics interface mnemonic diagrams based on the results of industrial operation of the system.
Project Summary
In June 2016, Krug announced the introduction of a natural gas metering system at the frac of the Arkhangelsk CHPP[1]
Main functions of the system
- Collection of operational and historical data from the gas corrector SPG761
- Data visualization
- Accumulation of parameter history
- Automatic generation of daily and monthly lists
- Ability to provide reporting documentation in Excel format
- Personnel access to system functions by password.
Composition of the system
- Primary pressure, differential pressure, temperature transducers installed on two pipelines (main line and ignition line) equipped with constricting devices as per GOST 8.586.2-2005
- Gas corrector SPG761
