In Art lodzhistik "1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management" is implemented

On December 4, 2014 the Axelot company reported^[1] about end of system implementation "1C:WMS Logistics^[1]. Management of a warehouse" in Art-lodzhistik company.

"Art lodzhistik" - the owner of large warehouse refrigerated warehouse of class "A" located in the south of the Moscow region.

Project Progress

Specialists of Axelot installed in an IT landscape of a warehouse complex the software product "1C:WMS Logistics. Management of a warehouse".

The project is complete within one month. During the project the full stroke of work of a warehouse is automated. A system makes automatic calculation of the provided services of safe custody configured under each bailor, including preparation, registration and formation of the accompanying documentation at shipment of products, selection and a complete set of orders on the status is "urgent", a pokorobochny selection of products, pallet shipment and shipment of boxes to bulk. Mobile radio data collection terminals of Motorola 9190 and printers of labels Zebra are connected.

Specialists of Axelot created and approved the scheme of use of a system with the customer, made setup for work with one of bailors, trained in the address with the software product personnel of the warehouse "Art Lodzhistik" and brought a system into operation.

Project Results

In a project deliverable address storage of goods in a warehouse is organized. Problems of selection and a complete set of orders, a pokorobochny selection of products, pallet shipment and shipment of boxes to bulk are automated. Control of handling works is strengthened. Probability of emergence of errors when forming orders is reduced almost to zero. Duration of idle times in work of a warehouse on an origin of errors in placement and selection of loads is significantly reduced. Shipment of products to customers accelerated.

The cost of services of safe custody taking into account individual schemes of interaction with bailors is calculated much quicker. Formation of accompanying documents at shipment of products is automated. It helped to liquidate the idle times of transport connected with need of waiting of trip documentation.

A new system helped to adjust strict control of temperature condition during the unloading and storage of goods in each of eight refrigeration chambers of a warehouse complex. Losses from damage of products are as a result reduced.

Management of work of a warehouse is conducted in the online mode. Bailors got access to all information on the movement of loads. Now they can independently keep account of processes of commodity processing and at any time receive the detailed reporting on a goods remaining balance. It increased the level of service of the company and increased its competitive advantages. Clients of Art lodzhistik could optimize the workflows taking into account the processing speed of orders, their loyalty to the company increased.

All this significantly increased efficiency of a warehouse. If earlier some part of warehouse spaces could be empty because of inability of old WMS to cope with the potential volume of loads, then now this problem is solved. The quantity of daily processed loads increased. "1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management 4.0" helped to organize smooth round-the-clock operation of a warehouse. Only in the first months of use of a new system the turnover of goods increased by 18-25%.

At the same time it was succeeded to avoid expansion of the staff of the company. The efficiency of work of each employee increased, the number of the personnel involved in processing of one unit of cargo was reduced. As a result a share of staff expenses in the total amount of costs of the enterprise were reduced by 15%.

Besides, implementation of "1C: WMS" did not involve the considerable financial investments, costs of the company completely paid off in 8-9 months.
