As the NSCP was created
On March 14, 2016 the Banki.ru portal published an interview with the deputy CEO of JSC NSCP Sergey Bochkaryov. That told how IT infrastructure of payment system and who created it is arranged.
According to Bochkaryov, initial a basis of processing operational payment and NSCP clearing center was going to take the platform for bank processing and to finish it. However the decision to create essentially new architecture in this connection the OpenWay company became the partner of NSCP as she could offer "the only architectural approach suiting us" was made.
Also Jet Infosystems and Yuniteller (JSC Preprocessing Settlement Center) took part in the project the infrastructure partner. The last helped to unroll the first prototype of a core of a technology platform of payment system in data center. Besides, together with a command of the Bank of Russia DPCs were under construction, Sergey Bochkaryov continues.
To the middle of March, 2016 IT infrastructure of the National Payment Card System contains three data processing centers, about 500 network devices, 300 physical servers on which 700 virtual servers and also 11 storage systems and 277 communication channels to banks are lifted. According to TAdviser, as the main vendor the Huawei company was selected from this project.
From foundation of NSCP before processing of the first transactions there passed only 8 months. For acceleration of project implementation only that equipment which is already certified in Russia was used, marked out the deputy director general of NSCP. He also recognized that it was impossible to exclude errors as the payment system was under construction quickly.
Sergey Bochkaryov reported that by March, 2016 the payment system processes 15-20 million transactions a day.
"Sufficient margin of safety. Target loading of architecture was 1,500 transactions per second. Now their about 460 per second in dive, and in tests we dispersed to 4-5 thousand per second. So now we have a tenfold stock. We can flexibly regulate and scale our infrastructure with a growth of loading" — Bochkaryov noted.[1] |
Infrastructure of NSCP on Huawei
The infrastructure created since the end of 2014 on the equipment by Huawei ensuring functioning of the Russian payment system "Mir" expanded up to 400 servers, six arrays of data storage and 500 units of the telecom equipment. The related technical incidents are few and noncritical. The deputy CEO of JSC National Payment Card System (NPCS) which is the operator of Mir, Sergey Bochkaryov[2] told about it[3].
As of the end of May, 2016 in the project the Huawei Tecal RH1288 V3, Tecal RH2485 V2 and Tecal RH5885 V3 servers which are based in two DPCs are used (equal; any is not reserve in relation to another). About 140 servers directly are engaged in transaction processing in the online mode, 40 are involved under clearing (calculations according to the results of day within all payment systems, not only World), 60 — under test environments, 50 — under security, 50 — under virtualization and 30 solve infrastructure problems.
In the project six DWH of three types are used: Huawei OceanStor 5300 V3, OceanStor 5600 V3 and OceanStor 6800 V3. The park of the telecom equipment of Huawei includes AR 201 and NE40E-X3 routers and also the S5710-28C-EI-AC, CE12804 and CE6850-EI switches.
Besides, rather recently the NSCP stopped testing and began to use Huawei eSight software, intended for management of different components of IT infrastructure — from DPCs and network transactions before access control, performance, security and monitoring of the environment.
According to S. Bochkaryov, the choice for benefit of Huawei was dictated by the fact that for project launch only this company had an optimal ratio of three components necessary for any platform: telecommunication equipment, servers and DWH. "At that time to find the similar company which would solve the same problems and used approximately the same stack of the equipment, it was not represented possible" — he claims.
Incidents
As Bochkaryov notes, for the first year of work (statistics was taken from April 01, 2015 to March 31, 2016) in a system there were 61 hardware failures. In telecom solutions there were 18 incidents, seven of them made hardware problems 11 — program. In a server framework there were 28 incidents: 10 equipment rooms and 19 program. In DWH — 12 incidents: four hardware and eight program.
On Bochkaryov's assurance, all this in general did not affect availability and activity of a system in any way. "I compared these digits to one of giants, digit very good" — he emphasizes.
What is involved by software
Let's remind that in the project two types of software are used. The first costs in operational payment clearing center NSCP and serves for transaction processing. It was created by technologists of NSCP in interaction with developers from the international company with the headquarters in the Belgian Brussels by OpenWay.
The second part of software for World is the payment application placed in the chip on the card. This software is positioned as development only by NSCP.

The National Payment Card System as the largest bank customer of Huawei in 2015
It is remarkable that the Huawei multi-national company considers the project with NSCP for itself one of the most significant in 2015 and the most demonstrative in the banking sector. At least quite so it was provided to the presentations of the president of division of marketing and sales of solutions of Huawei David He at the annual global summit of the company in the Chinese Shenzhen in April, 2016.
Its parameters it then with a certain advance payment described as issue support 100 million cards, the organization of processing more than 10 million transactions a day and debugging of disaster recovery of a system at the level of 10 milliseconds.
