In Askona company the implementation project of the solution of a management system for production processes comes to the end

In March, 2012 the Askona Holding Company and Galaktika corporation signed the agreement and started the project on system implementation of management of production processes Galaktika AMM.

Project Task

The main task of the project was uninterrupted ensuring production with purchased materials and components on the basis of own control technique with stocks according to the forecast of their consumption with its operational adjustment and temporary use of the set level of a safety stock

Project Objective

Project Objective: calculation of necessary amount of materials for accomplishment of orders, order placement terms to suppliers for providing a regular supply of production at present time, based on planned values of the material consumption, stock remainders and time between deliveries.

Implementing solution allowed the Company to solve a number of key problems, the tasks facing its department of supply.

Project Progress

During the project integration of systems Galaktika AMM and the Galaktika ERP, functioning at the enterprise more than 10 years was implemented.

The Galaktika corporation put the Askona Holding company into trial operation the automated control system for logistics of the main production, purchased materials and components, the press service of integrator reported on October 25, 2012.

The tasks solved within the project:

• maintaining normative reference information;
• obtaining requirements from the main production for purchased materials and components;
• analysis of security of the main production with purchased materials and components and calculation of a forecast point of approach of deficit of purchased materials and components;
• planning of the purchase orders providing timely replenishment action to the maximum allowed level;
• formation of requests to suppliers;
• accounting of "goods in way";
• accounting of the fact of intake of purchased materials and components on a warehouse of the enterprise from suppliers;
• status monitoring of purchase orders;
• management of material substitutions.

The solution of above-mentioned tasks is provided due to data integration between systems Galaktika AMM and the Galaktika ERP. In the Galaktika ERP system calculation of need of production for materials is made, an inventory control of stocks is kept, data entry about the expected shipments of materials from suppliers is provided. The specified data are imported to a system Galaktika AMM which means allow to estimate security of production with purchased materials and components, to predict approach of their deficit and to make calculation of necessary terms and purchasing amounts. A system provides acceptance of management decisions with a delay no more, than in one working day.
