The agreement provides for the implementation of an operating system, directory service, database management tools and solutions for secure mobile work. MMK specialists will be trained to work in the new system, and it is also planned to update the products used and test new solutions.

Astra Group is ready to refine software if necessary to meet the requirements of the metallurgical industry and increase the efficiency of new business processes of the plant.[1]

Astra Group products have these capabilities, in addition, they are constantly updated and supported by the manufacturer, the chief information technology specialist of MMK emphasized.

On April 11, 2024, a meeting of representatives of MMK and Astra Group took place in Magnitogorsk. The participants of the event discussed new opportunities and prospects for further effective interaction in the current market conditions, outlined potential ways of joint studies, the press service of the plant said.

MMK continues import substitution in the field of information technology. To do this, the group has prepared a special program, which includes projects for the transition to domestic solutions in 10 key business areas over several years.
