Project Goals and Objectives

In 2015 JSC NIAEP began to convert office of the Moscow branch. Upgrade of IT infrastructure, in particular data networks, and creation of a modern multimedia (audiovisual) complex became a part of reconstruction. Creation of new IT infrastructure provided active use of means of virtualization, including deployment of virtual desktops (VDI). This solution allows to lower significantly operating costs thanks to following features:

  • centralized operation by jobs of users;
  • process automation – deployment of jobs, delivery of applications;
  • the accelerated installation of updates, preparation and recovery of a workplace (within 3-5 minutes);
  • simplicity of scaling.

Besides, such approach allows employees to execute the duties without binding to a specific workplace, providing access to corporate information systems from any devices.

In turn, equipment of office a complex of technical means for transfer and reproduction of audio-and video content is designed to increase efficiency of working premises. Thanks to such upgrade they can be used for internal meetings and the training actions, negotiations and consultations with partners – customers and contractors, including at the international level.

Solution

The iCore company won tender on carrying out this infrastructure project, having provided the competent technical solution satisfying the customer on functionality, the budget, delivery dates and implementation.

The Hardware and Software System (HSS) of IT infrastructure includes the network and server hardware, the storage system (SS), software products for creation of infrastructure of virtual desktops (VDI) and also the equipment of a wireless network.

The implemented infrastructure supports authentication on the smart cards compatible to the operating customer's ACS, allows users of VDI to make voice and video calls and to exchange instant messages from virtual work places.

The multimedia complex is intended for demonstration of the presentations, holding sessions of a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING), informing employees and clients of the company and also for the organization of different actions using audiovisual materials.

Components of multimedia solutions are installed in offices and receiving project managers, the transforming hall (a conference room with two meeting rooms), an entrance zone, corridors and a public zone (Open Space).

The audiovisual complex includes systems:

  • video conferencings (VIDEOCONFERENCING) for holding meetings and negotiations;
  • IP television for broadcast of radio TV in all office spaces;
  • information maintenance (Digital Signage) for demonstration of work materials (presentations) in an entrance zone and public zones;
  • armorings of premises for management of loading of meeting rooms.

For content delivery of a multimedia system use the wire and wireless data networks (LAN / BLVS) entering an IT infrastructure HSS.

Project Progress

Construction works – re-planning of premises, laying of the engineering and low-current systems – the customer executed independently. Specialists of iCore performed a full range of works on creation and setup of information infrastructure:

  • development of the project and work documentation;
  • delivery and installation of equipment;
  • equipment commissioning, installation and software configuration, start of systems in commercial operation;
  • preparation of executive documentation, including instructions for administrators and users;
  • consultation of the personnel responsible for operation of complexes.

Staff of JSC NIAEP took part in integration of the created IT systems and multimedia solutions into existing a LAN of the company and also in preparation of images of virtual work places.

Implementation of the main part of the project – from installation of equipment before delivery of complexes in operation took place in a short time.
