2024: Plan for the creation of a data fund on the state of the Northern Sea Route
Sitronics The Group will develop FSUE Atomflot a fund for data the state of the Northern Sea Route. Sitronics announced this on May 14, 2024.
The system will ensure the sustainable functioning and development of the services of the digital ecosystem of the Northern Sea Route (NSR). The project is being implemented within the framework of the order of the Government of the Russian Federation "On the approval of the Plan for the development of the Northern Sea Route for the period up to 2035."
Sitronics Group, a Russian developer of digital solutions for the state and business, is working to create an information fund for FSUE Atomflot. The data sources are the subsystems of the Unified Platform for Digital Services NSR (EPCS NSR), data of the automatic identification system and images of remote sensing of the Earth (remote sensing), the main supplier of which will be Sitronics Group.
The Information Fund will provide optimization and long-term storage of large amounts of data: actual and forecast information on the hydrometeorological and ice conditions, the results of modeling ice wiring and optimal routes of passage of the NSR water area, images and thematic products based on the DZ. All this information will allow analyzing historical data for effective management of navigation and ensuring the safety of navigation in the NSR water area.
Developers automate data lifecycle management - for example, historical data on the path traveled by ships will be loaded into the fund from the NSR ECS for storage. Users will be able to use advanced search and data analysis tools to obtain the necessary archive information.
Today, the Sitronics Group is creating a data fund as an IT developer, and can also replenish it with satellite images of DZZ in various ranges and resolutions, including high-detail ones. The Data Fund will streamline loading, storage and management and expand the capabilities of the Unified Platform for Digital NSR Services for both state-owned companies and commercial fleet owners, said Pavel Dreiger, vice president of software products and solutions at Sitronics Group. |
