EWM SAP SCM implementation project in a warehouse of MPK "Atyashevsky"

2016: Project completion of SAP implementation of EWM on raw-material storage

In January, 2016 WMS – the warehouse management system SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) on raw-material storage is implemented.

2015: SAP implementation of SCM EWM on a finished goods warehouse

The TLS company in April, 2015 began EWM SAP SCM system implementation for process automation on a finished goods warehouse of the Atyashevsky meat processing plant (belongs to group of Tallinn) located in the settlement of Torbeevo of the Republic of Mordovia.

MPK "Atyashevsky" is the fast-growing and dynamically developing Russian enterprise in the sector of production and implementation of foodstuff. The company invested solid capital in upgrade of the production capacities: the factory in the settlement of Torbeevo is equipped with the modern robotic complexes performing functions of production and packaging of sausages and meat semi-finished products.

Priority of group of Tallinn is respect for the high quality standards and faultless service for satisfaction of needs of consumers and increase in their loyalty. Therefore the company pays much attention to increase in effective management of supply chains, using for this purpose modern IT technologies and possibilities of automation of warehouse and adjacent processes.

Focusing attention on philosophy of group of Tallinn, "TLS" offered complex approach to optimization of management of warehouse transactions and stocks on the basis of SAP SCM the EWM software product. The project is implemented in several stages, for each of which the list of works and terms is strictly set.

On the first project phases "the Technology of Logistics Systems" conducted careful examination of the logistic circle of the Customer that allowed to offer a complex of actions for increase in productivity and profitability and to create a target business process model using the EWM SAP SCM system.

Within the project: automation of warehouse processes on acceptance of production to the calibrated and weight products, placement on storage in rack zones of different types, to distribution by client requests and shipment. Adding in its circuit of automation of raw-material storages and auxiliary materials became expansion of the Project.

It is also important to note that the SAP solution SCM EWM covers all critical warehouse tasks of MPK "Atyashevsky" with standard functionality, without significant completions that gives the big advantage expressed in economy of material and time resources.

The project on a finished goods warehouse is going to be completed in September, 2015, on raw-material storages – in January, 2016. Business solution will allow MPK "Atyashevsky" to reach high rates of effectiveness: performance improvement of works, effective use of labor resources, reduction of percent of errors, increase in transparency of analytics. And optimization and standardization of all business processes of logistics in the enterprise will allow to create the debugged system focused on increase in satisfaction and service qualities of the end consumer and allowing to lower extent of impact of tactical factors on business of the enterprise.
