June 17, 2015. The SoftExpert company reported[1] about completion of automation of retail network of home appliances of Avtomatika Market LLC[2]. Using the solution "1C: Trade Management 8" operational accounting of goods in the central warehouse and warehouses is adjusted at shops. Timely purchases of products are provided. Assortment management is optimized. Service quality of buyers improved. As a result of the company it was succeeded to achieve the 20 percent growth of sales volume.
Choosing a Solution
Earlier operational accounting in the company was not automated. With development of retail chain stores the company faced certain difficulties. Sellers did not possess up-to-date information about a remaining balance in a wholesale warehouse and warehouses at shops. Managers had to create daily sales statements almost manually. All this considerably complicated purchase planning and assortment management. Sometimes, that the client did not find the necessary position in shop and left without purchase while the goods were available in other retail outlet located nearby.
Having estimated a situation, the management of Avtomatika Market LLC made the decision on creation of an end-to-end system of accounting and management which would help to arrange work of warehouses, to optimize work on formation of the range and to provide timely purchases of products.
The SoftExpert company became the partner in the project. For implementation of the tasks it was decided to use the 1C: Trade Management 8 software product.
Now in a system 40 users - company executives, managers, sellers in retail stores, employees of a warehouse and accounting service work.
Project Results
- Operational accounting of goods in a wholesale warehouse of the company is provided. Managers can control the status of accomplishment of each order in real time. Shipment of orders from a warehouse accelerated, errors at their complete set are excluded.
- The centralized system of purchases of goods is created. Now requests form taking into account a sales history and a remaining balance in warehouses. In communication with suppliers managers can operate with specific demand data on these or those goods that allows to conclude bargains on the most advantageous conditions.
- Customer service quality increased. Sellers always have now exact data on stock remainders and in retail outlets and can find the necessary position in a couple of minutes, reserve it for the buyer, issue the order or report in what shop the goods can be purchased right now.
- Speed of formation of orders for the wholesale supplies of goods doubled. Managers do not need to call on a warehouse any more to specify existence of the necessary goods quantity - all information in the online mode is displayed in a system.
- Work on formation of the range is optimized. Managers had an opportunity to analyze demand as on outlets, and separate positions of goods. On the basis of these data the range for each shop is formed. Besides, detailed demand analysis allows to reveal popular and not really demanded positions, to manage discounts for them, to carry out different marketing actions.
- In general process optimization of sales, purchases and work of a warehouse allowed the company to achieve the 20 percent growth of sales volume. Competently made range is sold much quicker, tradables always are available and any client does not leave Avtomatika Market LLC without purchase now.
