2025: Transfer of digital infrastructure to Public Cloud from RTK-DPC
The RTK-DPC company has completed a project to transfer the digital infrastructure of the Avangard Omsk Hockey Club to Public Cloud. Specialists have placed the club's IT systems on the basis of the Kubernetes-managed cluster - this is a platform for automatic control and management of containerized services. Thanks to the implementation of the solution, the club's IT systems, including the online ticket sales platform and attributes, work stably even under peak loads - for example, during matches and marketing promotions. RTK-DPC announced this on August 28, 2025.
As part of the project, the RTK-DPC team redesigned the club's monolithic information system into a set of independent microservices and automated development, testing and deployment processes using CI/CD practices. The specialists also involved key cloud services: managed databases (DBaaS) with backup and optimization, S3 object storage, monitoring and logging tools. To improve reliability and operational support, RTK-DPC allocated Vanguard HC as a technical account manager and connected a team of DevOps engineers who are on duty during matches and ensure stable operation of 24/7 systems.
The result of the project was a completely updated digital platform of HC Avangard - flexible, scalable, load-resistant and significantly more economical in support. The created infrastructure meets the requirements for the security of personal data, is located in a certified Tier III data center.
