The Ural equipment manufacturer of dental laboratories built a data network based on Cisco 2800

The project on creation of the convergent data network integrating all network resources of the company is implemented in AVERON scientific-industrial complex (Yekaterinburg), one of leading manufacturers of the equipment and furniture for dental and zuboliteyny laboratories in Russia. Implementation of this end-to-end system was performed by Ural Integration LLC - representative office of CROC in the Ural Federal District. For creation of network infrastructure technologies of the world leader in the field of network technologies - Cisco companies were used.

As a result of project implementation the following tasks were solved: ensuring protection of information resources of the company against the attacks from the Internet, ensuring protection of transmitted data between divisions and creation of secure access of remote users to information resources of the company.

Thanks to interaction of project teams the corporate data network based on routers of the Cisco 2800 series with the integrated network services was built. Use of this equipment allowed to integrate network resources of the central and additional offices using VPN tunnels on topology "star". The fault tolerance with automatic redirection of traffic in an alternative channel in case of failure in work of the basic is implemented. The Cisco IOS Firewall installation and intrusion prevention systems of IPS provided protection against unauthorized penetration and the attacks from the Internet. Sharing of the server of certificates on the basis of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, servers of access control Cisco Secure ACS, the software of Cisco VPN Client and also Aladdin eToken hardware keys allowed to organize the protected remote connection with two-factor identification of remote users and, at the same time, to provide the organization of secure channels of communication between the central and additional offices. For placement of servers with need of access from the Internet the demilitarized zone is organized.

Estimating results of the done work, the head of IT department of AVERON scientific-industrial complex Prokopyev Sergey noted: "The implemented project allowed to improve significantly defense of perimeter of a data network, to provide secure remote access to resources of the company and also to minimize time expenditure on information support of the opened remote offices of our company".
