2022: Completion of the introduction of "electronic cashiers"
Otkritie Auto (Otkritie Bank's auto business unit), in partnership with SMT Engineering, completed a pilot project to introduce "electronic cashiers" based on an automated electronic cash center (AECU) in Avilon dealerships . Otkritie Bank announced this on September 27, 2022. Recently, AG AVILON has completely abandoned cash nodes with operationists in favor of a new level of service.
Now payment for the purchase of a new car or a used car, as well as payment for the services of a service center, can be made using an electronic cashier, which is designed to automatically accept, recount, authenticate, store and credit funds. The cash collection unit of this format accepts any amounts, providing high reliability and speed of processing the deposited cash (~ 1,000 bills per minute), and if necessary, gives out a change - payment takes literally a minute.
The electronic cashier is a self-service device and solves the key tasks of the dealership: it replaces the classic cash center with personnel, simplifies collection and ensures a high level of security of funds. It is fully autonomous and works around the clock, with no holidays or weekends.
The pilot project for the introduction of electronic cashiers lasted more than a year and was recognized as successful. After that, we began to replicate automatic deposit machines and supply them turnkey to dealerships.
