BBDO Russia completed an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics AX

The new information system BBDO Russia helped to increase efficiency of projects of group at the expense of business process optimization and fall forward of acceptance of management decisions. The solution created based on Microsoft Dynamics AX supports work of 15 agencies at 4 territorially remote offices and allows the management of group to obtain online the consolidated management information in cuts of any number of legal entities and business units.

"With implementation of a new system we can manage more successfully the BBDO Russia projects from the financial and economic point of view. The unified information system based on Microsoft Dynamics AX created by us together with AND Project and Microsoft replaced Excel in which about 50% of transactions, and other earlier used systems were performed. The project started in May, 2009 and was executed precisely in the planned terms. The division of Microsoft Consulting Services of the Russian office of Microsoft corporation as the general contractor, and AND Project company as the contractor became partners in implementation. Since January 1, 2010 all agencies of the BBDO Russia group began to work in a system, for February, 2010 the company created and handed over the reporting from Microsoft Dynamics AX both according to the Russian standards of accounting and tax accounting, and according to the GAAP standards. Now the number of the users who are at the same time working in a new system exceeds 400 people.

The choice of our parent company, Omnicom Group became an important argument towards Microsoft Dynamics AX. This system is used in holding as the standard.

As the contractor on the project for BBDO Russia the AND Project company was invited, experts of Microsoft Consulting Services managed the project, and the task of AND Project included adaptation of Microsoft Dynamics AX under requirements of BBDO Russia group and implementation of the ERP system. The project was executed according to methodology of Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step.
