Bayer MaterialScience, the division of Bayer company which is engaged in production of high-quality plastic implements the latest version of SAP CRM system 2007 for automation of work of sales departments.
According to the customer, during the choice of the CRM system the company considered also solutions of Siebel and Salesforce.com, however simplicity of the user interface and ability to integrate with other SAP applications and creations of a single platform for business management became key factors for benefit of this software product.
The pilot project of implementation of the CRM system already started and, according to plans of the company, should last three months. Based on testing the decision on further replication of the solution in branches of the company will be made worldwide. In case of successful implementation as a result it is supposed to connect about 2,500 users to a system, from them 800 will work with a system by means of mobile devices.
