Digital Design upgraded an electronic document management system of "The Baltic leasing"

2018: Upgrade of EDMS

On July 27, 2018 the Digital Design company announced project completion of upgrade of the electronic document management system (EDMS) of Baltic Leasing company. According to the company, with transition to the version of the Docsvision 5.4 platform it was succeeded to increase EDMS performance more than twice and to automate business processes.

As it was reported, a system based on the previous version of Docsvision 4.5 supported internal business processes of the company for 5 years – the term for which, as a rule, and from customers load of a system and functional requirements grows, and the vendor releases versions in which it develops performance and functionality. Therefore when before owners of a system there was a question of updating, the decision to go on the way of upgrade of the existing EDMS was made.

By forces of regular specialists "The Baltic leasing" updated the platform to the current version of Docsvision 5.4, and for carrying out further works on upgrade of a system the Digital Design company was invited. As a result of the works on optimization and migration of objects which are carried out by specialists Digital Design on the platform and also to elimination of the elements influencing system response speed, performance of EDMS grew more than twice.

Ability to quickly process the large volume of information - one of the main requirements to a modern information system therefore it was very important to us to achieve this result. Other important requirement to a system which we also considered is the scalability, an opportunity to cope with a large number of tasks, than now. Besides, it was reported that in addition to high performance, the staff of Baltic Leasing received a convenient option – approval of the minutes of meetings. Now EDMS Docsvision automatically creates and sends the protocol according to the results of a meeting for approval along the necessary route. The electronic document management system based on Docsvision provides continuous interaction thousands of employees of Baltic Leasing company in 69 branches dispersed across all territory of Russia.

2013: Implementation of EDMS

Digital Design completed an implementation project of an electronic document management system on the basis of the solution Smart Start 3.0 for Docsvision 4.5 in Baltic Leasing company, the press service of integrator reported on July 25, 2013.

Digital Design won tender for delivery of the solution for the EDMS organization to Baltiysky leasing Group and implemented Smart Start 3.0 for Docsvision 4.5. When implementing the project it was required to implement in a short time the ready-made solution allowing to automate processes of office-work, office, organizational and administrative document flow and work with agreements. The leasing company purchased 150 competitive licenses that allows to organize work in a system for 600 users. Implementation took no more than three weeks.

"Within the Digital Design project unrolled a technology platform of EDMS, executed loading of necessary reference books and performed additional settings of the solution, including creation of additional cards and fields.
