On February 25, 2014 it became known of the beginning of project implementation on the organization of an end-to-end system of enterprise asset management of the class EAM (Enterprise Assets Management) in Baltika brewery. A technology basis of the project - the Monolith platform ERP.

Project Tasks

At the end of 2013 the first stage of the project, on the production site in Yaroslavl is begun. At the end of the first quarter 2014 the functionality set in Yaroslavl should be unrolled in branches - Novosibirsk, Rostov, Tula and further in branches of Baltika. The project is going to be completed at the beginning of 2015. The supplier of the solution — the business partner and the developer of a corporate information system of BaltikaMonolit-Info company.

Project Progress

Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is the systematic and coordinated organization activity aimed at optimum control of physical assets and modes of their work, risks and expenses for all lifecycle for achievement and accomplishment of strategic plans of the organization. An EAM-system is an application software of management of fixed assets of the enterprise within the strategy of EAM. Its application is focused on reducing costs for maintenance, repair and logistics without decrease in level of reliability, or increase in production parameters of the equipment without increase in costs.

The EAM-system of Baltika will help to manage and control in coordination reliability of the equipment and the constructions operated in the company on the basis of the uniform principles and strategy, will provide management and control of finance, quality and labor resources regarding maintenance, repairs and logistics, will become a basis for the single integrated system in which problems of inventory management, are coordinated by the budget and personnel to the similar tasks solved in financial and management accounting will allow to replace outdated legacy IT solutions, in particular — the DUS system.

Start in operation of basic functionality of the system unrolled at the end of 2013 at the plant in Yaroslavl became the first stage of the project. Initial system configuration provides maintaining the uniform qualifier of objects using concepts of model, the technology place and an item of equipment, allows to plan hardware maintenance on the strategy depending on category of the equipment, to keep account and to satisfy the needs for spare parts, supplies, labor resources and the equipment, to manage labor resources and also to appoint to execution of work on orders or lists of bypasses and to control their accomplishment.

Successful start of the first stage of the project in Yaroslavl allowed to pass to replication of technology to all production sites of Baltika which will come to the end in the second quarter 2014. Then implementation of modules of the second queue — on accounting of technical and operational condition, management of reliability, management of budgets and also on accounting and planning of an operating time of a production equipment will begin. Problems of the third queue — purchase management of the equipment, calculation of an operating time of ancillary equipment, control of acts of the performed works of contract organizations and also the system of the analytical reporting — are planned for the beginning of 2015.

The implementable solution, is integrated with functionality of the modules ERP used on Baltika from Monolit-Info. It will provide relevance of all information and a possibility of control of execution of key functions by services of technical directorate of Baltika company in real time, will increase quality of planning of MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operation is maintenance, repair and operation). Uniform templates of service of the same equipment, a management tool standard faults and the analytical reporting will provide a possibility of comparison of efficiency of hardware maintenance on different branches with distribution of best practices on all company.
