2020: Implementation of the standard solution on information security

The Soyuz bank implemented the standard solution on information security of Rostelecom which allows to ensure data security during the work with a Single biometric system. Rostelecom reported about it on December 21, 2020.

The standard solution on information security of Rostelecom — a hardware and software system which is established based on infrastructure of the customer and is used for security of biometric data at registration and remote verification of citizens in a Single biometric system. The solution allows to reduce costs and to reduce time for fulfillment of requirements of regulators to information security during the work of credit institutions with biometrics.

Thanks to the implemented project the bank had opportunities for business. The solution developed by Rostelecom conforms to strict requirements of cryptographic firmness. It is especially important that banks can use this solution not only for operations on opening of accounts or deposits, but also for safety of any other transactions with personal data — the operating officer of Soyuz bank Oleg Mukhambetov told.

Implementation of the standard solution of Rostelecom in Soyuz bank took short term: two months from the moment of signing of the contract to an output in commercial operation. Was engaged in implementation Trust of Tekhnolodzhiz — the domestic company integrator with nine years' experience of design, implementation and support of solutions on information security support of different level of complexity.

The standard solution on information security will allow Soyuz bank to provide reliable data protection of clients at registration and verification of biometrics. Equipment installation based on own infrastructure helped bank to fulfill, on the one hand, the requirements of the regulator, and on the other hand, to reduce costs for own development — the director of digital identity of PJSC Rostelecom Ivan Berov noted.
